Inside Out |
For the Inside Out project we had to write a watermark, which is an important event or time in our lives which has shaped us to be who we are as of right now. For the past six weeks, our English class had been writing, revising, rewriting, etcetera, etcetera. We had been working very hard on learning how to paint with words. I also made a second one for the Moth event, but I did not share it at the event. I am very happy with both of my watermarks; they both reflect me very well.

TEDx/DVCx |
For the TED project we had to write our own Ted Talks. I wrote mine about self-harm. We had to include ethos, pathos, logos, and statistics in our Ted Talks. We had to present our talks to the class, then we voted on the top seven for the TED event. I ended up being the top voted person in the class, For the event, we had to memorize our talks. It was very fun and easy to memorize my talk. It was even more fun when I got to present in front of the school.

Power of the Gods |
For the Power of the Gods project we had to write our own myth and turn it into a book. We read multiple myths, and we learned about the Greek gods before we started to write our own story. My myth is about the 1906 San Francisco earthquake.

Spark a Revolution |
For the Spark a Revolution project we had to write a speech based off of The Hunger Games. We had to include ethos, pathos, and logos in our speech; along with a rallying cry that needed to be repeated at least twice. We also made costumes that went along with our District, I made a costume to represent Prim from District Twelve.

Be Heard |
For the Be Heard project we first made a skit about a parent and child arguing over who they were dating. Then, we read Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare and we wrote an argument on a question that Regina gave us. I wrote on whether or not a chaotic and disorderly world causes disaster or not. With that, we recorded a PodCast. For the PodCast, I ended up recording it with another classmate, combining our arguments into one.
